Everything begins with an intro, whose theme also appears at the end of the album. Then comes the song Shalom Chaverim – “God be with you, friends” – a Jewish folk tune from the old world, from Galicia… I wish you pleasant listening; if anyone has any questions, I’m usually at home in the mornings.
Prater Menuet contains eight mostly lyrical compositions, seven of which were written by the main protagonist himself. The recording features top Slovak jazz musicians such as Radovan Tariška, Ľuboš Šrámek, Juraj Bartoš, Milo Suchomel, Juraj Kalász, and Marián Ševčík. There are also international guests — classmates from Graz, where Erik studied.
